ABDUCTION (75) aka Patricia. Extremely trashy exploitation based on Harrison James' Black Abductor, the novel some claim was the SLA's inspiration and blueprint for the Patty Hearst kidnapping. A must for sleaze hounds and conspiracy theorists alike! Order

THE ADDING MACHINE (67) Milo O'Shea stars as Mr. Zero, a repressed (Who can blame him? He's married to Phyllis Diller!) accountant who waxes his boss, gets the hot squat, and goes to a place that may or may not be Heaven. A very unusual little fantasy film that deserves to be rediscovered. Order

ALEX JOSEPH AND HIS WIVES (77) aka Obediah 18; The Rebel Breed. Ultra-ultra-ultra-obscure oddity chronicling the real life adventures of eccentric polygamist and antiauthoritarian Alex Joseph, an ex-Modesto, CA cop and American Indian who had twelve sexy wives at the same time, founded his own town, and was accused of, among other things, drug trafficking and transporting stolen property. Produced and directed by fellow haremkeeper Ted Mikels this one’s so rare we defy you to find it in any of your reference books! Order

ALICE GOODBODY (74) aka Gosh. Follow the adventures of sweet, freckle-faced Sharon Kelly and her ample assets as she takes part in a rock musical version of Julia Caesar, meets a bunch of quirky eccentrics, and completely fails to resist the debaucheries of show business. Lucky us! (review by Scott Wallis) Order

ALLEY CAT (84) Big busty brawler Karen Mani kicks the shit out of street scum in this 42nd St. fave. Lots of kung fu action and Karen's got a GREAT set of lungs. A classic. Order

ALL THIS AND WORLD WAR II (76) Finally available! A milestone of "What were they THINKING?!?" filmmaking that fuses together two unlikely elements (Beatles tunes + World War II stock footage) to create a mind blowing misfire of musicality. This Shocking Videos exclusive (well, for the moment anyway) boasts astonishingly good picture and sound quality for such a rare title (only slightly marred by a few minutes of minor tape damage on the master at the beginning of the film) and comes complete with the original theatrical trailer! Order

THE AMERICAN SUCCESS COMPANY (80) aka American Success; Good as Gold; Success; The Ringer. "A movie dedicated to the fine art of making it." Following the friendly lead from a happy hooker, Jeff Bridges plays a man who solves the mundanity of his personal and professional world by fashioning dual identities: one, a bland slice of white bread, and the other a nasty heel with a wicked limp! Cool, offbeat story framed with narration in fairy tale form, also featuring the added perk of Bianca Jagger in a see-thru top! Story by the great Larry Cohen (review by Scott Wallis). Order

AND WHEN SHE WAS BAD... (73) Long lost sleaze from Gary Graver about Sharon, a psycho teenager who runs away from home and comes to live with her ex-stepfather and his bitchy, perpetually pickled girlfriend (who thinks that a balanced breakfast means Olys AND vodka). Sharon wanders around Hollywood Boulevard, cleans her new roommate’s carpet (if you know what we mean and we think you do), changes clothes a lot, and, oh yeah, strangles a bible salesman with fireplace tongs while screwing him. We told you she was psycho! Order

ANDY WARHOL’S BAD (77) Come meet Hazel Aikens (Carroll Baker), a tough-as-nails beautician who runs an electrolysis parlor and a hit squad from her crumbling New York home. Hazel usually only hires girls for jobs, but makes an exception for studly Perry King, who’s scheduled to bump off an autistic child by the end of the week. Opening with an overflowing toilet and ending with a drowning in a kitchen sink, this masterpiece plumbs the depths of depravity. Babies are thrown from high-rise windows, thumbs are snipped off, faithful golden retrievers are stabbed, limbs are crushed, movie theatres are set on fire ("Good thing we were showing a bad movie or even more people would have died!"), all of it hysterically funny! Career-defining performances (Baker says that this is her finest role) from King, Susan Tyrrell, Brigid Polk and Stefania Suspiria Cassini, the imminently quotable dialogue will stay with you permanently. "Hazel don’t do pussies!"  "Looks aren’t everything!" "I am a money person and you owe me money!" There’s no reason why you can’t join the small, determined group of people who extol this as the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE! Essential. (review by Greg Goodsell) Order

ANGRY JOE BASS (76) aka Joe Bass. Slices of murder mystery wrapped around a story of forbidden love, stuffed with racism, and lightly seasoned with narration drier than a VD scare film. Independent commercial fisherman Joe Bass ("a strange one, a brave new kind") gets the shit end of the stick on a daily basis, which is made messier when he starts playing house with the daughter of a big local banker who believes in not only the unpredictability of Indians, but also the social value of segregation, and does everything in his power to have this bad taste in his mouth washed out by any means necessary. Like a chunk of fat-free Johnny Firecloud, it's a decent entry in The Minority Strikes Back wall of fame featuring an underage rape attempt, infidelity, and the always welcome hatchet vs. chainsaw scuffle resulting in shrieking dismemberment! (review by Scott Wallis) Order

THE ARENA (74) aka Naked Warriors. Sexy sword’n’sandal spectacular reunites Pam Grier and Margaret Markov (previously teamed up in the somewhat redundantly titled Black Mama, White Mama) as a couple of gritty gladiator gals who must fight for their right to party! Order

ARNOLD (73) Wicked black comedy stars Stella Stevens as a determined golddigger who marries a millionaire corpse in hopes of inheriting his riches. It soon becomes apparent that her new husband has other plans though as he begins systematically bumping off his greedy relatives from the comfort of his tape player equipped casket. With a wonderful supporting cast (Roddy MacDowell, Farley Granger, Victor Buono, Bernard Fox and Jamie Farr), some ingeniously gruesome deaths (like acid laced cold cream and a shrink wrap suit) and a much appreciated scene of Stevens parading around in nothing but her bra, panties and garter belt. Order

AUDITIONS (78) Long out-of-print Candid Camera style porn put-on from Charles Band Productions. Supposedly the producers ran casting call ads in LA papers for an upcoming sex film, then secretly filmed the auditions. But the camerawork is so good and from so many angles that it's pretty obvious this one's a hoax. Still really funny though and watch for appearances by '70s adult film regulars Rhonda Jo Petty and Rick Cassidy, as well as a VERY young Linnea Quigley! Order
