A LIFE OF NINJA (83) aka Miu Meng Yan Che. Wild and crazy ninja action let's us know right from the get go that this is no ordinary movie (during the opening credits we witness secret ninja training that includes female mud wrestling and how to tippy toe across ice cubes really fast). Packed with colored smoke, flash powder explosions, over cranked gymnastics, garish costumes, and secret weapons (one unlucky lovely is killed in the shower with an ice pick -- made of real ice!) as well as Disco Lady Ninjas, Giant Ninjas and Ninjas That Fall Down and Go Boom! this one is a five poisoned ninja star masterpiece all the way! Beautiful letterboxed English language print with small Japanese subtitles. Order BACK ALLEY PRINCESS Order BAMBOO GODS AND IRON MEN (74) "From Harlem to Hong Kong they fear the name, the fame and the fury of Black Cal Jefferson, the Champ!" Former baseball star James Inglehart ("Randy Black" in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls) and genre vet Shirley Washington (Wonder Women; Darktown Strutters) star in this much sought after martial arts/blaxploitation hybrid. OrderTHE BATTLE WIZARD (77) aka Das Blut der Toten Python. Insane period fantasy action from the Shaw Bros. starring Danny Lee. Lee plays a young philosophy student who leaves home to see the world and gets more than he bargained for when he crosses paths with two high kicking hussies – one keeps snakes up her sleeves to ward off attackers and the other has a magic bone that shoots arrows! Non-stop action and goofiness! Letterboxed English subtitled print. Order BEACH OF THE WAR GODS (71) Jimmy Wang Yu (Wang me? No, Wang YU!) wrote, directed, and stars in this kickass take on Kurosawa's Yojimbo that plays like a Spaghetti Western, only with razor-sharp swords! Phenomenal fight scenes as Big Wang hacks and slashes his way through boatloads of bloodthirsty pirates! Letterboxed and subtitled in English. OrderTHE BLACK DRAGON'S REVENGE (75) aka The Death of Bruce Lee; The Black Dragon Revenges the Death of Bruce Lee; Revenge of the Black Dragon. Ron Van Clief and his sidekick Charles Bonet (both of whom struck us as a little, well, gay frankly) bust up Hong Kong trying to find out how Bruce really died. Best bit of dialogue is when a geisha girl rubs Van Clief’s face and queries "This makeup?" to which Ron smoothly replies "No baby, it’s the real shit." For the big finale Ron twists a guy’s head all the way around Exorcist style. Letterboxed and includes trailer. Order THE BLADE Letterboxed. Subtitled. Order BLOODFINGERS aka Death on the Docks; Brutal Boxer. Order BRIGADE BLACK PANTHER (76) aka The Sexy Killer; The Drug Connection. Amazingly rare German print of this wild Shaw Bros. action / kung fu / revenge flick! It’s basically a note-for-note remake, with Asian cast, of the Pam Grier hit Coffy (which was a variation of Hit Man, which was a rip off of Get Carter) about a nurse taking revenge for her sister who died of a drug overdose. The action is fast and furious in this must have for Shaw Bros. collectors. Letterboxed German language print. Order BRUCE LEE AGAINST SUPERMEN Letterboxed. Order BRUCE LEE: HIS LAST DAYS, HIS LAST NIGHTS aka Bruce Lee, His Last Days; Secret Sex Life of Bruce Lee; Bruce Lee and I; Bruce Lee, I Love You. Order BRUCE LEE IN NEW GUINEA Order CHALLENGE OF THE LADY NINJA (83) aka Nu Ren Zhe; Chinese Super Ninja 2. Great looking letterboxed, English language print of this wild femme fu fest. Hot babes in fire engine red ninja outfits battle it out for the glory of their homeland when they aren't busy buffing up in bikini-clad workout sessions or grappling wildly in crazed mud and oil wrestling matches. Avoid the crappy full frame "official" DVD of this one and put your money right here where it belongs! Order THE CHINESE MECHANIC (73) Very rare uncut English dubbed print of this old school fighting classic that stars Barry Chan as a hit man hired by the Chinese mob to collect debts for them by using his fists! Lots of brutal thrills in this one! Order CLAN OF THE AMAZONS (78) aka Xiu Hua da Dao. Framed for the daring theft of a fortune in jewelry, martial arts master Phoenix Lu must venture into the Nameless Valley to discover the true perpetrators of the crime. There he becomes entangled in a bizarre love triangle and a plot to overthrow the throne. Letterboxed print with English subtitles. Order THE CLONES OF BRUCE LEE (75) Mad scientist splices together three radio-controlled replicants from Bruce's still warm corpse and we've got ourselves a movie. With Dragon Lee, Bruce Le, Bruce Lai, Bruce Thai (huh?), Bolo, lots of slap-happy fight scenes, a remote control Bruce vs. Bruce vs. Bruce punchout to the almost death, and a surprisingly large number of tits for a movie of this type. An hour later you'll want to watch it again! Widescreen. Exclusive Double-Disc "Phantom Limb" Collector's Edition offers up both the English dubbed and English subtitled versions of this masterpiece (both in glorious widescreen) plus the original trailer! Order CRYING FREEMAN (96) Beautiful print of Christophe Gans’ live-action remake of the Japanimation classic. Very, VERY cool! Order DEADLY ANGELS (77) aka The Bod Squad; Rambo Police Women; Qiao tan nu Jiao Wa. Nudity, stabbings, cat fights, ass whuppings and so much more! English dubbed print with Greek subtitles. Includes trailer. Order DEADLY CHINA DOLL (72) aka The Opium Trail; Hei Lu. Good quality UNCUT and letterboxed print of this mega-rare action classic starring Carter Wong and Angela Mao. Mao takes on an opium smuggling ring in typical "Hell hath no fury" style. Heeyah! Order DEADLY KICK (83) Wildly entertaining martial arts monstrosity with something for everyone! An evil crime syndicate manipulates a guilt-ridden hit man who defoliated a lovely lotus blossom and then poked her eyes out! Years later she tries to kick his ass by using a little girl tied to her with a rope who rings a string of bells signalling where he's coming from. So he kills the little girl! But only after complimenting the woman on her new sunglasses! Our hero(?) has stock footage visualizations of various animals just before he strikes! Another woman is stripped and whipped as dinner party entertainment. Then the host repeatedly jabs her in the crotch with a fencing foil! A man is knocked through a wall, leaving one of those cartoony silhouette cut outs behind! But what really puts this one over the top is the scene where our hero(?) punches his fist through a guy's stomach, pulls out a handful of steaming intestines (yes, you can actually see the steam rising off of them) and uses them to strangle another joker! Great! OrderDEADLY SILVER ANGELS (84) aka 5 Lady Venoms; Jin Zhi Nu. Five tattooed kung fu cuties join forces to take out a violent narcotics ring in this wild martial arts/crime epic from the mighty Joseph Lai studios. Packed to the rafters with bloody beatings, stabbings, shootings explosions, nudity and more! Includes trailer. Order DEAF AND MUTE HEROINE (71) aka Long Ya Jian. A gory, stylish and violent sword play about a woman defending herself and her family against a vengeful gang looking for the loot she stole from them. And in true "against all odds" fashion, she uses mirror bracelets as the eyes in the back of her head to make up for her deafness! Pure Hong Kong action from start to finish. Hell, even the opening credit sequence is a symphony of destruction! Top notch and brimming with allegory. Letterboxed German language print with NO English subtitles. (review by Scott Wallis) Order THE DRAGON LIVES AGAIN (76) aka Deadly Hands of Kung Fu; Facing All Death Vol. 11; Li San Jiao Wei Zhen di yu Men. Hallucinatory kung fu weirdness finds Bruce Lee spending the afterlife in Hell where he must defend the King of the Underworld’s throne from a coup attempt by Dracula, the Exorcist, Clint Eastwood, Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman, James Bond and Emanuelle. And no, we’re not kidding. Keep reading. Since this is obviously too formidable of a lineup for even Lee to take on by himself he enlists the aid of fellow souls damned for eternity Kwai Chang Caine, the One Armed Swordsman and that most accomplished martial artist of them all, Popeye. Yes, that’s right, Popeye. As in Popeye the Sailor Man, the cartoon character. Needless to say, this is another one you absolutely have got to see to believe. Order 18 BRONZEGIRLS OF SHAOLIN (77) Yep, it's true. They're covered from head to toe in bronze paint and go "boing" when you hit 'em! Hilarious training scenes as the bronze babes slam into a giant bell, get crushed by stone columns, and have a huge wrecking ball slammed into them over and over. Plus a final death match in an open field highlighted by synchronized back flips and cheerleader pyramids! And one of the stars is named King Kong!!! Order EIGHT ESCORTS Order THE FATAL FLYING GUILLOTINES (76) First film appearance of the dreaded Flying Guillotine, sort of an oriental sombrero with retractable blades inside attached to a long chain. Whip it onto a foe's head, tug on the chain, and presto! Instant spurting neck stump!!! Such a great concept, they made two more! Letterboxed. See also The Flying Guillotine. OrderTHE FATE OF LEE KHAN Order FEARLESS MASTER Order FEMALE NINJAS: MAGIC CHRONICLES 1 Order FEMALE NINJAS: MAGIC CHRONICLES 2 Order FEMALE NINJAS: MAGIC CHRONICLES 3 Order FEMALE NINJAS: MAGIC CHRONICLES 4 Order FIGHTING FISTS OF SHANGHAI JOE (72) aka Knochenbrecher Im Wilden Westen; Il Mio Nome è Shangai Joe; Karate Jack; Shangai Joe; The Dragon Strikes Back. Looking for a better life as a real cowboy, the well-spoken and mild-mannered Shanghai Joe optimistically kicks up the dust toward the Lone Star state, but encounters nothing short of racism, prejudice and disrespect from all the rednecks deep in the heart of Texas. Just don't make him angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry, unless your idea of a party is getting your hands chopped off, your eyes gouged out and your chest ripped wide open by an unarmed man! The Far East collides with the Wild West in this death-dealing, corpse-littered Italo-Western gimmick, directed by Mario Caiano (Nazi Love Camp 27; Nosferatu in Venice). (review by Scott Wallis) Order FIGHTING LIFE (84) Third and final entry in this Gimp Fu supersaga (See also Crippled Masters and Two Crippled Heroes) finds our martial arts mutants magically transported to the 20th century, where they're trying to make a go of it in the big city. The boys are up to their usual tricks (kicking butt crip style, performing like trained seals, and scuttling around like sand crabs) but overall this one's just a little too nice for its own good. For example, there's a scene where the legless one catches a taxi across town and he rides inside the cab. Why didn't they just have him grab on to the bumper and zip along on that little cart of his??? Order THE FLYING GUILLOTINE (76) Hold onto your hats and what's in 'em -- it's another decap spectacular featuring those infernal head whackers! And this one's from the Shaw Brothers! Evil Chinese emperor trains a band of assassins to liquidate political foes using dreaded state-of-the-art chow mein technology and heads sail everywhere! In-fucking-sane! Letterboxed and subtitled. Order FROM CHINA WITH DEATH Order THE GHOSTLY FACE (72) aka Karate a Bali; Das Geistergesicht der Roten Dschunke; Lem Mien Kuel. Great looking letterboxed English language print of this wild HK/Indonesian kung fu gorefest. Polly Kwan stars as a vengeance obsessed vixen battling a monster mask-wearing martial arts maven and his many minions. This one’s stuffed to overflowing with stunning fights, breathless action and jaw dropping bloodshed. Recommended for sure! Order THE GODFATHER SQUAD (74) aka Godfathers of Hong Kong; Hong Kong Godfather; Little Godfather of Hong Kong; Ta e Kou. Violent kung fu / Mafia crossover flick stars Bruce Liang as a HK martial arts movie star who inadvertently thwarts an assassination attempt against an Interpol agent. In order to save face the crime family who were contracted to perform the hit vow to deliver Liang’s head on a platter but first they have to lure him out of Hong Kong. Their plan? To offer him the starring role in a new film "shooting" in Rome entitled "The Last of Kung Fu." Ingenious! Letterboxed. Order GOLDEN NEEDLES (74) aka Chase for the Golden Needles. Fast paced genre hybrid from Robert Clouse stars Joe Don Baker as an American expatriate hired to recover a golden statue that holds the secret of sexual potency. Since this is long before Viagra the statue is very much in demand. Today it would just be an expensive paperweight. OrderHAPKIDO (72) aka Lady Kung Fu; Dragon, Tiger and Phoenix. Blazing martial mayhem from the First Lady of Fisticuffs, Angela Mao. With Carter Wong, Samo Hung in his first starring role, and a walk on by Jackie Chan! See When Taekwondo Strikes for more Mao. OrderHEROES THREE (84) aka Three Warriors. Mike Kelly, Laurens C Postma and Lawrence Tan star in this goofy but surprisingly entertaining martial arts whodunit. How can you NOT like a movie that’s got a Dutchman named Dutch, a Chinese detective named Horatio and a villain named “Gold Tooth Wang”?!? Order IN BED WITH THE ENEMY (76) aka Female Ninjas: In Bed With the Enemy; Kunoichi Ninpo: Kannon Biraki. Boobs, bloodshed and black magic abound in this, the movie that inspired the Female Ninja Magic Chronicles series. Great stuff! Letterboxed Japanese language print. Order INVINCIBLE SHAOLIN (79) aka The Unbeatable Dragon; North Shaolin vs. South Shaolin. Another ass kicking entry in Chang Cheh's long running "Venoms" series that's got so many breathtaking fights and gruelling training sequences it's better than a year's subscription to Inside Kung Fu! Letterboxed. Order THE INVINCIBLE SUPER CHAN (70) Crazy ass Taiwanese martial arts epic of ineptitude is so single mindedly cheesy, has such hilariously bad fight choreography AND acting (the reaction shots of some of the mortally wounded in this thing are, well, to die for!), is so badly dubbed and has such ridiculously inept special effects and weaponry (See the amazing "Slinky Dildo" the most ineffective weapon in all of the martial arts!) that, entirely in spite of itself, it falls face first into the lap of Greatness! Slightly letterboxed, English dubbed print. Order THE KID WITH THE GOLDEN ARM Order THE KILLER aka Sacred Knives of Vengeance. Order KILLERS ON WHEELS (76) aka Madboys From Hong Kong. Wild, mega-violent kung fu/biker hybrid from the mighty Shaw Bros. is absolutely PACKED with torture, beatings, burnings and gratuitous nudity. After seeing his best friend killed, a woman assaulted and another driven insane by a ruthless HK cycle gang, a young martial arts student snaps and claims bloody revenge against the whole lot of them. Scooter trash go up in flames, over cliffs, are impaled on spears, scalded with boiling cooking oil, ripped to shreds with broken glass and more, more, more! Great quality letterboxed German language print. Order KUNG FU GANGBUSTERS (7?) Whew! It’s one butt whipping after another in this cops versus narcotics ring actioner from Hong Kong. In fact, the fighting is SO relentless you may need to stop and take a nap halfway through! Fun stuff but, needless to say, we’d probably move more copies if it were called "Kung Fu Gangbangers." Oh well! Order KUNG FU MAMA aka Queen of Fists. Chinese language Order KUNG FU ZOMBIE (82) aka Wu Long Tian Shi Zhao Ji Gui. Trying to convince you to buy a flick entitled Kung Fu Zombie is about as hard as trying to convince you to buy one called Delinquent Schoolgirls. But if you must know, a renegade priest is trying to find a new body for his master by raising the random dead, but finds himself on both sides of a family feud between two rival clans with lots of bad blood ready to boil over. The insane outbursts of martial arts and gore in this baby are practically non-stop, while plot is virtually non-existent. But with all the hopping zombies ready for combat, black magic foolery, and a bloodthirsty vampire who fights while his hands and feet are ON FIRE, who the fuck cares?! ! One of Asian Cult Cinema Magazine's "Most Outrageous Asian Films of All Time", directed by the madman also responsible for Soul Brothers of Kung Fu, Wa Yat Wang! (review by Scott Wallis) OrderLADY WHIRLWIND (72) aka Deep Thrust; Deep Thrust: Hand of Death. First Lady of Fisticuffs Angela Mao kicks ass and takes names in this straightforward revenge number. Co-stars Sammo Hung as one of the heavies who’s named, appropriately enough, "Master Chow." Order MAFIA VS. NINJA Order THE MANDARIN MAGICIAN Letterboxed, includes trailer. OrderTHE MAN FROM HONG KONG (75) aka The Dragon Flies; Zhi Dao Huang Long. UNCUT 100min.letterboxed English language version. Includes trailer. Order NAKED FIST (81) aka Firecracker; Kinasmällare. After a little homework, she infiltrates an dope peddling organization and falls for the mob's top ass-kicker, only to find out her sister isn't missing, but dead, and her new beau's behind it! Revenge is sweet in this Cirio Santiago film with a surprising amount of brutal impalements, not to mention a buzzsaw to the face and some sexy knife action. Our girl Susanne gets attacked at the worst times, too. She fights a group of thugs in her underwear TWICE, eventually going topless with her fists of fury still a-flyin'! Go baby, go!! (review by Scott Wallis) Order THE NEW ONE-ARMED SWORDSMAN (73) aka Triple Irons. Wild fantasy martial arts flick directed by Chang Cheh and packed with colorful costumes, hyperkinetic fight choreography, and wacky special effects. A Chinese Boxer with the unlikely name of "Joey" slips through a time portal and trades his soul to The Black Prince of Hell for a stylish necklace of skulls that house the Nine Demons: eight bloodthirsty little imps and their cute plasma slurping mom. Lots of cool flying skull scenes, blood draining, and acrobatics in this one! Order NINJA IN THE CLAWS OF THE CIA aka In the Claws of the CIA; Kung Fu Leung Strikes Emanuelle; Kung Fu Emanuelle. Order NINJA PIRATES (81) Let’s put this debate to rest once and for all: You can keep your Cannibal Vikings and Killer Robots and whatnot. When push comes to roundhouse kick, there’s only one thing more badass than ninjas, and that’s ninja PIRATES. And we got ‘em! And we can’t stop thinking about ‘em! With Carter Wong, Lo Lieh and Nancy Yen. Order NINJA WARS Order THE ONE-ARMED BOXER (73) aka Chinese Professionals. Rare Golden Harvest chop-socky written, directed by, and starring Jimmy Wang Yu who single-handedly (!) takes on a crew of Third World mercenaries after they wipe out his school. An amazing mix of "my style's better than your style" kung fu, Chinese Nationalism, and silly Roadrunnerish stop motion effects. Excellent quality letterboxed print. Your choice: English dubbed or Chinese with English subtitles (please specify when ordering). OrderPOWERFORCE (82) aka Dragon Force. The princess of a fictional kingdom is abducted by communists and held for ransom. It’s up to blond bad-ass Jack Sargent (Bruce Baron) to assemble a crack team of martial artists to storm the castle and save the day. Also known as Dragon Force, this kung fu features ladles on tons of surreal imagery. Check this out: a deadly hooded cobra is used to suck out the poison from the chief good guy’s wound, the chief bad guy is a 500-pound buffoon who gets caught in doorways, and in the film’s must memorable sequence, the princess is stripped naked and painted with Chinese characters prior to getting acupuncture needles stuck in her freshly shaved bald head! Way over the top and highly entertaining! Order QUEEN BOXER (74) Here’s the fully UNCUT version of this great Judy Lee asskicker complete with the title, ALL of the bloody fight scenes in their entirety, and NO bullshit "So and So Presents" company logos across the bottom of the screen! A must have for martial arts fans. Order RAGING TIGER (??) aka Raging Master's Tiger Crane. Super obscure martial arts action filled with acrobatic antics and esoteric weaponry. In one scene our hero takes on a trio of musically inclined chickfighters armed with razor sharp cymbals! Includes trailer. Order RAW FORCE (81) Listing the exploitive elements that this Filipino feature DOESN'T have would make for a much shorter and more manageable list. A cruise ship full of swinging singles and martial artists run afoul of a smuggler who resembles Hitler in an ice cream suit. The smuggler sends his goons to sink the boat, and the survivors land their life raft on an island inhabited by cannibal monks who have the power to raise disgraced kung fu killers from the grave … leading to a battle royale between the zombies and the living karate masters! Add tons of tits and ass, fight scene and cheapjack action sequences and you have a veritable dwarf star of schlock cinema! Wait a minute! This thing also stars Cameron Mitchell and Vic Diaz! The universe is imploding! Ahhhhhhh … Order THE REAL BRUCE LEE Order REVENGE OF THE SHOGUN WOMEN UNCUT Order ROOTS OF EVIL (79) Not to be confused with the Alex Corde/Brinke Stevens stinker, this stinker stars folk singer/guru Christian Anders as a martial arts instructor battling an evil dwarf played by a guy named "Deep Roy"! Lots of fun here with gorgeous cinematography, cheesy optical effects, sword fights galore, Mifune on a giant kite, a groovy whips’n’chains dance number, frog geeking and some serious cleavage shots for the kiddies. Gorgeous letterboxed print with your choice of either English subtitles or English dubbing (please specify "sub" or "dub" when ordering). Includes trailer. Order SISTER STREETFIGHTER 2 (74) aka Onna Hissatsu-ken: Kiki Ippatsu (Lethal Fist Woman: Hanging by a Thread). Wow! You want delirious super-stylized hyperactive action that’s ultra-bloody and sadistic too? Then this is your movie. After getting shot in the forehead with a poison dart a dying spy pulls out his artificial eyeball and hands it to Sister Streetfighter. Inside is a roll of microfilm that details the workings of an evil diamond smuggling ring that transports its merchandise by surgically implanting the stones in hookers’ ass cheeks. In this organization uncooperative employees are dealt with harshly. One woman is forced to stand naked on a block of ice with a noose around her neck while a blowtorch is applied to her kneecaps. Other highlights include eyeball skewerings and bloody stump spurting arm removal. Believe it or not this shit is like crack to some of us. Nice looking letterboxed Japanese language print complete with trailer. OrderSTONER Letterboxed, subtitled. Includes trailer. Order STREET GANGS OF HONG KONG (79) aka The Delinquent. Hyperviolent kung fu action from the Shaw Brothers starring Wang Chung (no, not the band, smart guy). A real find, with great photography and some SERIOUS martial mayhem. In one scene our hero is shot through the stomach with a harpoon, then the bad guy drags and slings him from one end of an apartment to the other using the attached cord. That's right, we're talking slope on a rope here. Buy it. English dubbed. Order SUPERMANCHU Order THRILLING SWORD Order TWO CHAMPIONS OF DEATH Order TWO CRIPPLED HEROES (83) aka Crippled Heroes. They're baaaaack! Another hilarious Asian freakfest that, believe it or not, is even WILDER than the original! What, you got some sort of PROBLEM with hiring the handicapped? Order THE VIXENS OF KUNG FU (76) Totally off the wall martial arts/porno hybrid about a runaway hooker who, after being "shot with the Gun of Anesthesia" and forcefully gang banged, is taken in by a clan of nude kung fu cuties who teach her self defense and how to meditate until smoke comes out of her pussy. And no, we’re not making this up. With Bree Anthony, C.J. Laing, Peonies Jong(!), Bobby Astyr and, of course, Jamie Gillis. This one’s just too ridiculous to pass up! X-rated Order THE WARRIOR WITHIN (76) aka Chuck Norris Workout. "The story of the martial arts is a story of war." You may have heard that this is Chuck Norris' tribute to Bruce Lee. Well, it ain't...at all. But it IS a way cool documentary made during the chop socky frenzy of the late '70s, featuring fifteen top martial artists representing styles and systems from across the board, serving as both a martial arts history lesson as well as a candid look at its impact on modern culture and its practitioners. Learn how many pounds of pressure it takes to crack a human skull! Heed the warnings of peaceful cats who won't hesitate to kill you on contact! And dig the many tournament style demonstrations of technique, skill, and control. A must for all martial arts enthusiasts. Music by Bruce Lee's brother, Robert. Order WHEN TAEKWONDO STRIKES (73) aka Sting of the Dragon Master. HiiiiYA! Jhoon Ree, father of American TKD, and deadly China doll Angela Mao whip the snot out of "those damn Japs" in this classic of martial mayhem. Great overuse of the kettle drum for dramatic effect and where else are you gonna find a fight film that swipes Strauss' Thus Spake Zarathustra for its soundtrack? Order WHICH IS STRONGER, KARATE OR TIGER? aka Which is Stronger, Karate or the Tiger?; Karate versus Tiger. Kurata Seine Faust ist der Tod. Order |
